Program description: Our
children are very precious gifts to us, only they didn't come with an Owners
Manual, and at times, they challenge our patience and our skills at
parenting. Come discover specific strategies, that when
delivered with a language of love and respect, will help us model the lessons of
responsible behavior we want them to learn. This participatory program gives
parents an opportunity to better understand reflective listening, problem
ownership, setting boundaries and limits
and the importance of providing clear choices and consequences. Using words of
encouragement, there is much we can do, as parents, to release the road blocks
that often lock our children and ourselves into self-defeating behaviors.
As a Professional Speaker, health
educator, wife and mother of five children and the author of twelve books on
personal growth issues, Bertie Ryan Synowiec, walks her talk with honesty and
integrity and a strong sense of connection with her audience, as she integrates
her signature stories well into the fiber of your being. When you think she's
there to motivate you, she does so by bringing you back to center and reminding
you of your own purpose in life.
Bertie is director of Positive
Support Seminars and Publications, Grosse Ile, Michigan and travels
extensively around the country with her programs. She is currently the
facilitator/ instructor for the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting
(STEP) classes sponsored by The Guidance Center in Southgate now in her
third year. Her parenting book, Healers, Helpers, and Guides: Stormy Times -
The True Gift, along with her other books in her Healing Journey Trilogy

Program # 3 Health, Wellness and Healing Journeys
Health, Wellness and Healing Journeys is an inspiring program,
based on Bertie Synowiec's newest book, Healers, Helpers, Wizards and
Guides: A Healing Journey and shared from the perspective of a very
insightful patient. It is a her healing journey of transformation, facilitated
by a gifted Chiropractor. In it she explores the powerful lessons learned
through the guidance of those who come into our lives at just the right moment
to help us heal and grow. Personal injury, illness and the loss of loved ones affect change in each of us in a way that gives us the unique
opportunity to rewrite the story of our lives. Her wounds were deep and had to
heal from the inside out. As a kinesthetic learner her body released that which
her head thought she already understood. Paying close attention to her intuition
and trusting her miracles, she gained the confidence to speak her truth in a way
that presents hope, love and encouragement for those wishing to redirect their
lives towards wholeness in mindbodyspirit.
